Theatre Gym by Arrowwood Theatre is an experimental open studio for theatre artists looking to expand their tool belts and grow their artistic skills outside the traditional scene study and workshop structure. Hosted by co-Artistic Directors, Kiera Publicover and Simone Matheson, as well as Chekhov Coach, Sofie Jarvis and other exciting guest artists, this free-flowing playing space utilizes exercises and tools from acting theorist, Michael Chekhov to explore Fantastic Realism, Anne Bogart's Viewpoints, and Contact Improvisation. Theatre Gym allows artists to stretch, flex and develop their artistic muscles without judgement. Through spyback we pivot the focus from product to process.​
